A lot of people ask me whether it's possible to lose 20 pounds in 10 days, and indeed it seems very hard to accomplish, if at all. However, the real question is what this weight loss will really be like? And this brings us to the one and only method in which, I believe, that it's possible to lose 20 lbs in 10 days: the detox diet way.
Detox diets have been popular for decades and they have certain benefits which other diets lack. One of these benefits is an ultra-fast weight loss, at least in the beginning stages. And a detox diet only has a beginning, so to speak, since you shouldn't be on one for more than 10 days straight at the most.
A detox diet is a weight loss method in which you eat very little and usually concentrate on fruit juices and other cleansing items. The most famous of these diets, and one which I recommend myself, is the Lemonade diet also known as the Master Cleanse diet.
During the Master Cleanse, your diet will mostly consist of lemon juice and other items which help detoxify the body of pollutants and also lead to a fast weight loss. How fast changes from one person to the next and also depends on how much weight you have to lose overall, so it's impossible to know whether you'll succeed in losing 20 pounds in 10 days but you can expect a rapid weight loss rate.
However, a detox diet isn't a way of life, it's only good as a kick start for a more gradual weight loss process. A lot of the weight you will shed with a detox diet will be water weight, and only part of it will be fat. After you finish with the detox diet, it will be good to continue eating sensibly and incorporate regular exercise into your routine.
