I heard of BFL several years ago, but only started my first challenge on Sept 3, 2007. It went well, especially in terms of ramping up my cardio and weight routines. Didn't lose as much weight as I hoped for, but I KNOW that is because I wasn't strict enough about the eating, which is 75% or 80% of what contributes to weight loss efforts.




Since April 11th, I have been on a modified version of BFL. No weight training yet, some walking for exercise, but mainly just keeping a close eye on what I eat. Fruits, veggies, plenty of water, and small meals.




I have learned a lot and gained a lot of inspiration from other BFLers on the web. Blogs, Youtube, bodyforlifestyle, yahoo chat boards, etc.




I am hoping that 2008 will be the year in which I finally lose the weight I need to lose, and get fit and STAY FIT!!!
